Setting Out Engineer

Accurately set out civil and electrical works for substation construction sites.

Tasks

-Maintain accurate records of site measurements and as-built data. -Comply with site PPE requirements and promote a safety-first culture. -Participate in daily briefings and toolbox talks. -Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers. -Report and record any near misses or incidents. -Support quality assurance processes and inspections. -Assist in resolving technical issues and discrepancies on-site. -Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. -Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to ensure alignment with design specifications. -Using surveying instruments (e.g., total stations, GPS) to set out works accurately. -Ensure all equipment is calibrated and used safely.

What You Bring

-CSCS Card Engineering or Technical Discipline. -Proficient in using surveying equipment and software. -Experience in substation or HV infrastructure projects. -HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil or Electrical Engineering. -CAT & Genny Training. -SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable). -First Aid at Work (desirable). -Manual Handling and Working at Height Awareness. -Temporary Works Awareness.
