Tasks

-Prepare construction cost estimates. -Perform constructability reviews. -Preparation of project specifications and contract documents. -Lead construction contract administration. -Prepare documentation for design projects and reports. -Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater /drainage conveyance facilities. -Perform construction inspections.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of water / wastewater / drainage conveyance infrastructure in a municipal environment. -Experience in proposal writing, scoping and project management -MMCD Contract Administration certification is a benefit. -Experience in condition assessment of municipal infrastructure is a benefit. -Valid BC Class V Driver's License. -5+ years of related experience with municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater conveyance and pumping infrastructure. -Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), P.Eng status in BC -Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients. -4+ years of related experience with civil engineering, design, construction inspection, contract administration. -Excellent attention to detail.
