Lead structural design, analysis and project delivery for complex building projects in Perth.

Tasks

-Manage and deliver structural building projects. -Execute project design, detailed calculations, documentation, and contract administration. -Attend internal and external project design meetings. -Contribute to the development of the Structural team, be an ambassador to our brand and to our company culture. -Mentor Junior staff members who would be at a Graduate level -Undertake project QA in accordance with our procedures. -Liaise with the internal multidisciplinary team, external architects, clients, and contractors. -Undertake site inspections and reports. -Prepare sketches and calculations in support of design concepts.

What You Bring

-Problem solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills -Professional Memberships -Demonstrated structural design experience of Buildings, ideally in engineering consultancy. -Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards -Knowledge and capability across post-tensioned and reinforced concrete, steel and masonry -Structural software knowledge of RAM Concept, SpaceGass and ETABS (essential) -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Knowledge of building stability analysis and corresponding detailing -Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering
