Tasks

-Ensure regulatory compliance, perform Management Monitoring audit and support Independent Business Monitoring / regulatory audits -Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Pharmacopoeia & ATS review -Lead and/or participate in investigations arising from laboratory equipment/computer systems events and propose effective CAPA to minimize reoccurrence -Lead or participate in laboratory equipment validation in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements, inclusive of writing, reviewing and approval of validation related documentations -Maintain and support computer systems and laboratory equipment according to site change control and access control procedures -Manage the retained sample visual inspection and disposal program -Manage inventory for laboratory chemicals, instrument spares and accessories (e.g. columns, consumables) within budget set by Alab. Manage the lab inventory Kanban system and ensure all materials are included in the Kanban system -Perform periodic validation review of systems/laboratory equipment in a timely manner to ensure that the validation status is maintained and make recommendations for re-validation as required -Conduct effective training for laboratory staff on computer systems/equipment and relevant procedures. -Ensure that analytical equipment is maintained and calibrated accurately and timely in accordance with site procedures, ATS and regulatory requirements -Perform accurate and thorough impact assessment on laboratory equipment, systems change control to ensure all impacted areas are adequately assessed and impacted documentation are updated in a timely manner -Oversee the management of poison and explosives pre cursors chemicals/reagents used in Alab -Recommendations on the adoption of new / revised procedures, methods, specifications -Supervise, develop and motivate team members and other assigned staff to help realize their maximum potential so as to contribute towards achieving the objectives of the department -Ensure a safe working environment in the laboratory and perform HSE inspection -Proposals & Recommendations Decisions/Recommendation on the findings of laboratory equipment/computer systems deviations Recommendations on new / replacement instrumentation / technologies Recommendations on the adoption of new / revised procedures, methods, specifications Resource requirement projections for the Analytical systems support activities Able to make recommendations on ways of conducting training on computer systems/equipment -Decisions/Recommendation on the findings of laboratory equipment/computer systems deviations -Revise, review and maintain laboratory procedures, instructions, methods to ensure compliance with regulatory, QMS, ATS and pharmacopoeia

What You Bring

-Relevant experience (in Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Clean Room or associated industry) preferred. -Knowledge of quality control and laboratory environment. -Science degree holder with experience in the field of Chemical, Pharma or Manufacturing industry -Hold required statutory license(s) for the laboratory chemicals and ensure statutory requirements are complied with -High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format -Knowledge of GxP and laboratory equipment / validation -Able to make recommendations on ways of conducting training on computer systems/equipment -People management skills
