Tasks

-Collaborate with front-end developers and business stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic -Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and applications -Integrate software components and third-party software’s and applications -Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability -Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all software applications, including technical specifications and user manuals -Ensure seamless integration between third party software systems and software’s used within the company -Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive -Design, code, test and debus Doocey Group’s software applications, ensuring strong optimisation and functionality -Ensure that all software development activities comply with industrial standards and regulations -Follow industry best practices for code management and deployment -Assist in the training of staff to use software applications effectively -Maintain and enhance the existing software systems by identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes -Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot issues and implement bug fixes -Document development processes, changes and updates

What You Bring

-Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines -Ability to self-manage work using JIRA or equivalent project management tools -MYSQL Certification -Proven experience as a PHP Developer -Good understanding of the TALL stack specifically Livewire -Excellent knowledge of PHP and the Taliwind/Alpine.js/Laravel/Livewire (TALL) stack and (LAMP) stack -Ability to administrate cloud-hosted Linux servers and MySQL databases – preferably in AWS -Proficiency in PHP and experience with PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony, Codelgniter) -Zend Certified PHP Engineer -PHP Development Certification -Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (desirable) -Previous experience with test-driven development (PHPUnit, feature tests, etc.)
