Participate in project and vendor reviews to evaluate key metrics regarding financial performance, schedule, risk and opportunities, and relationship status
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Company’s risk management standard operating procedures in partnership with Legal and other departments
Support Legal in negotiation and tracking of vendor NDA’s
Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the Company’s Zero Injury principles
Obtain, gather, and organize upstream contract flow-downs for the Procurement team on a project-by-project basis
Develop contracting positions to mitigate, avoid, or transfer risk exposure that may arise during project execution
Support negotiation of Master Service/Supply Agreements and Master Vendor Agreements to enable seamless contracting processes
Facilitate negotiation of Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, exhibits and other agreements in support of Renewables projects, utilizing company guidelines
Provide contracting leadership and onboarding training to Procurement team members. Hold training sessions for the team as requested

Experience with Viewpoint, Procore and Project Controls software
5+ years of recent experience in construction contract management on large and complex construction projects
Understanding of common construction agreement provisions including warranties, limits of liability, risk of loss, schedule milestones/LD’s, force majeure and change orders
Strong organizational skills, initiative and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting contract language
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or relevant discipline; or equivalent experience
Subject-matter expertise in contract management principles and techniques
