Overview
Operate and maintain surveying instruments, collect data, and support field operations.

Tasks
-Monitors accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections -Cleans, checks and adjusts survey instruments to assure accuracy of measurements. -Oversees surveying activities in the absence of Survey Party Chief. -Interprets maps, plats, blueprints, and specifications. -Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures. -Operates and maintains various surveying instruments, such as transits, level, theodolite, and electronic distance measuring equipment to measure and verify elevations, angles and distances. -Assist Party Chief in running the field operations -Coordinates with office staff and clients as required. -Performs mathematical calculations to establish and locate reference points.

What You Bring
-Ability to lift 50 pounds -High School Diploma/GED -The worker is subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including but not limited to extreme cold and heat. -1+ years of experience in land surveying -1+ years of utilizing data collectors, robotic and non-robotic total stations and GPS equipment. -Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments -Candidates must be able to collect data using company standards for descriptions and line coding. -Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check -Ability to carry required instruments and equipment -Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role. -Experience with GDOT -Willing to train the right candidate without the above noted experience -Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
