Electrical Applications Engineer

Overview

Develop and validate electrical calculations for software products serving MEP customers.

Tasks

-validating and testing calculations where required. -translating the electrical requirements for the development team to implement. -actively participating in designing electrical systems. -documenting calculations for new components and features. -maintain an expert level of calculation knowledge. -providing expert knowledge across our teams when required.

What You Bring

-Knowledge & Understanding of European regulations such as NEN1010, VDE0100 etc. -Strong communication, interpersonal, team working and organisational skills. -Experience of working in a multinational company. -Knowledge and experience of Electrical Software Products -Experience of working with CAD products such as Revit -Chartered Engineer -Expertise in the Building Services industry in particular electrical software applications. -Strong knowledge of LV and HV Electrical calculations, e.g. IEC 60909, BS7671, IEC 60364 etc. -Proven experience of 3+ years in electrical engineering -Working under ISO 9001/TickIT Quality System or similar. -A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable industry experience. -Able to escalate and propose solutions -Excellent writing skills. -Able to conduct hand calculations for implementation. -comfortable performing hand calculations. -Good analytical problem solving skills
