Tasks
-Keeps resident engineer informed of workload and any daily activities. -Conducting inspections, scheduling, and oversight of heavy highway structural projects. -Actively observes and acts in an appropriate manner related to safety. -Assists in the completion of reports. -Responsible for monitoring contractor conformance to quality, performance, and specifications for assigned construction activities. -Proactively interacts with the contractor to track crew work and equipment on the project. -Solve technical problems and steward solutions through the delivery process. -Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
