Switchboard Operative

Overview

Handles incoming calls, routes them, takes messages, and performs admin tasks.

Tasks

-Direct calls to the appropriate person or department within the organisation -Take messages and relay information as required -Answer all incoming calls to the main company switchboard number in a professional manner -Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service at all times -Keep accurate records of calls received and actions taken -Assist with the distribution of incoming mail and packages

What You Bring

-Ability to pass DBS check -Experience in a similar role preferred -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Strong organisational and time management skills -High level of attention to detail and strong IT skills -Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
