Tasks
- Assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and compressors. - Maintain and repair existing mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment. - Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. - Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople to facilitate smooth operations and project completion. - Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used. - Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within piping and mechanical systems; perform necessary repairs or replacements. - Measure, cut, and install pipes using appropriate tools and methods. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately install and assemble piping systems and mechanical equipment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, as well as mechanical components in various settings, including industrial, commercial, and residential environments. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
