The Role

Overview

Manage client relationships, drive sales, and support accounts across multiple yards.

Tasks

-Increase the sale of new products and identify opportunities for expanding the overall product offering -Answer technical questions across the entire product line -Frequently, will move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc. -Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending PKs, educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies -Collaborate with outside sales and yard managers to develop an overall sales strategy focused on growth and profitability -Maintain accurate records of sales activity, orders, quotes and pricing -Develop relationships with new and underperforming accounts -Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer service

What You Bring

-Must be able to remain in stationary position 80% -Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers -Must be able to receive and analyze financial information -Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur -Must be able to multitask -Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive -Proficient in Trend, MS TEAMS, GTS Direct and the Web Dashboard/Portal -Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects -Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks -Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. -Advanced skills in Excel -Strong Microsoft office skills -Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement and initiative -Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing accounts -Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
