The Role

Support major project pursuits by coordinating proposals, commercial strategy, and delivery.

Tasks

-Build and sustain relationships with key clients (public and private) and partners; grow your own long-term network. -Capture lessons learned from major pursuits and support the refinement of commercial pursuit processes. -Review and analysis procurement documents, identifying key commercial terms, risks, and obligations. -Attend pre-bid meetings and post-submission debriefs; document outcomes and lessons learned (REX). -Maintain pursuit records, manage proposal schedules, and coordinate commercial review workshops. -Support the preparation of RFQ/RFP submissions, including coordinating inputs from technical, commercial, financial, and legal teams. -Build and maintain a rigorous pipeline of opportunities: capture and stage pursuits in CRM, prioritize targets, and drive early positioning. -Support in the definition of the winning strategy of targeted opportunities. -Coordinate with partners and internal teams. -Support client-facing activity (meetings, conferences, seminars) and prepare presentations, decks, capability statements. -Support mobilization and project set-up. -Facilitate Go/No-Go / Bid/No-Bid decisions with internal stakeholders. -Manage relationships with partners and project stakeholders. -Own and execute the Commercial Action Plan for priority targets in Ontario & Quebec - Canada. -Once awarded, ensure smooth transition from proposal to delivery. -Prepare the formal hand over from proposal team to delivery team, with clear highlights around assumptions, risks, and opportunities. -Contribute to proposal management in project mode, ensuring on-time delivery, clear objectives, full understanding of client needs, to secure a complete, compliant, and competitive offer. -Qualify the opportunities with technical, commercial background information, while mapping the competitive landscape. -Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures (Winning Strategy, Go/No-Go, Bid/No-Bid, and other internal approvals). -Work closely with pursuit managers, engineering leads, estimators, and external partners to ensure high-quality, compliant submissions.

What You Bring

-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). -Strong communication and writing skills, with attention to detail in technical and commercial documentation. -3–5 years of experience in engineering, project delivery, proposals, or commercial coordination (major infrastructure experience preferred). -Bilingual in French and English (is an asset). -Strong understanding of procurement processes (RFQ, RFP). -Proven ability to coordinate project teams and mobilize diverse contributors. -Knowledge of the British Columbia and Alberta transportation and Infrastructure market (asset). -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (master’s degree is an asset). -Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. -Proficiency in MS Office; experience with scheduling or project management tools is an asset.
