You’ll lead technical design, coordinate complex projects, and engage directly with customers to ensure world-class execution. From configuring SCADA systems to commissioning protective relays, your expertise will drive innovation and operational excellence. If you’re passionate about solving technical challenges, collaborating across global teams, and working on projects that matter, this is your opportunity to make an impact in the power industry’s transformation. -Lead technical design and engineering deliverables for substation automation projects. -Configure and test SCADA systems, protective relays, and communication devices. -Perform electrical testing using advanced tools like DOBLE and OMICRON. -Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across teams. -Coordinate project activities across design, production, and commissioning phases. -Support project managers with technical input for proposals and risk assessments. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. -Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. -Engage with customers to optimize solutions and maintain high satisfaction.

What You Bring

-10+ years of experience in substation automation projects. -Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. -Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. -Strong knowledge of SCADA, protection systems, and communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, GOOSE). -Familiarity with utility substation operations and standards. -Hands-on experience with electrical testing using DOBLE and OMICRON equipment.
