Tasks

-Developing knowledge of topographic and cross-section surveys to support planning, design, materials and cost projections for the project site. -Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities. -Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems. -Provide checking of as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques. -Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff. -Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required .

What You Bring

-Ability to train and direct staff on a project site. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related preferred. -Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by survey manager. -Strong communication skills, proven with engineering teams and management on project sites. -Technical skill with survey instruments -3+ years’ experience in survey and land mapping required. -Proven leadership skills. -High School Diploma / GED required. -Valid Driver’s License -License Surveyor In Training (LSIT) Certification
