Tasks

-Assist the Party Chief in conducting land development, boundary, design, topographic, and ALTA surveys. -Ensure accuracy and precision in all surveying activities. -Follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally. -Full array of surveying and mapping services using the most current national, state, local and ALTA/ACSM standards. -Operate Robotic, conventional, and GPS survey equipment to measure topographic features and boundary evidence accurately and efficiently in support of land development, route, utility, and other land surveying projects.

What You Bring

-2+ years of experience as an Instrument operator performing land development, boundary, design, topographic, and ALTA surveys is preferred, but not required. -Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat and cold. -Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. -Possess a meticulous attention to detail and strong ability to promote accuracy. There is very minimal room for error in this position. -Be dependable and responsible regarding punctuality and attendance. -Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed from various methods of communication. -Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis. -Travel generally is up to 50%. -Must have a valid Driver's License. -Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time. -Ability to pass a drug and background screen. -Scan-to-BIM/terrestrial lidar -Highly qualified staff with land surveying and remote-sensing experience.
