Post Tensioning Engineer

Description

As a PT Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of post-tensioned concrete systems across a variety of structural projects. You will work closely with architects, structural engineers, builders, and consultants to ensure accurate, practical, and well-coordinated PT solutions.

• Review architectural and structural documentation and collaborate with project engineers, builders, and consultants.
• Prepare PT slab and beam designs in line with relevant Australian Standards.
• Produce PT shop drawings and technical documentation, working alongside a small offshore engineering team.
• Attend occasional stakeholder design meetings, presenting and coordinating design requirements with structural engineers.
• Provide design clarifications, respond to RFIs, and support construction teams throughout project delivery.

• Strong understanding of concrete behaviour and post-tensioned design principles.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage workload and deadlines independently.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with PT design software such as RAPT, RAM Concept, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
