Responsible for opening paperwork for scheduled jobs.
Collaborates with departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
Serves as a point of contact and liaison for multiple departments.
Responsible for updating the due to ship MRP date on sales orders as material is available earlier/later than original anticipated date(s). Notify sales, product management and customer service of any schedule impacts to customers.
Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
Responsible for maintaining “z-material” management to ensure reprocessing and inventory management.
Coordinates schedule of material moving from manufacturing and/or R&D departments to warehouse & logistics ensuring timely distribution based on demand.
Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment and internal resources to anticipate demand for and to utilize appropriate resources to acquire additional supplies as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience required. Chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Lift up to 15lbs.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification preferred.
Good computer skills, especially working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and MRP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
