Tasks

-Adjusting, moving and lifting objects in all directions: Constantly -Communicate with customers or site contacts to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns -Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly after each shift -Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment: Occasionally -Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like: Occasionally -Enforce safety policies and ensure all crew members wear required PPE -Ensure proper surface prep, crack filling, sealcoat application, and striping (when applicable) -Plan and coordinate daily job site operations, including material loading, crew assignments, and equipment setup -Monitor quality of work and ensure consistency in sealcoat thickness and coverage -Perform pre sight visits prior to starting a job – barricading jobs if needed -Perform post site completion visits to the job – removing barricades if needed -Maintain accurate daily reports, crew timecards, and project documentation -Supervise and lead a crew of sealcoat laborers and equipment operators -Troubleshoot issues on-site and coordinate with management as needed -Train and mentor crew members to improve safety, productivity, and workmanship

-Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed -Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more: Rarely -Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus -Seeing to perform job duties at a distance, such as driving or operating equipment: Constantly -Comfortable working outdoors in heat and fast-paced environments -Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers: Constantly -Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills -Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds: Constantly -3+ years of sealcoating or asphalt maintenance experience required -Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor daily -Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing: Standing -Requires physical labor, bending, lifting, and working around equipment and sealant materials -The ability to travel regionally or nationally: Rarely -Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds: Occasionally -1+ years in a supervisory or crew lead role preferred -Ability to read work orders, layout jobs, and plan efficient execution -Ability to manage multiple crews at a time -Seeing to perform job duties at close range, such as monitors or screens: Constantly -Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, such as stooping, kneeling, or crouching: Constantly -Strong knowledge of sealcoat materials, spray and squeegee applications, surface prep, and traffic control -Talking and hearing to communicate with others: Constantly -Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods: Constantly
