Tasks

-Oversee overall production on that machine -Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines -Evaluate performance and provide feedback -Precisely handle glass to ensure safety & quality -Maintain equipment -Conduct meticulous quality checks on finished products -Responsible for utilizing glass racking system -Operate and train others to operate specific machines and equipment -Approve or disapprove time off request forms -Organize priorities for daily production of glass cutting table -Operate machinery, this includes control power, automated retrieval system, and automated glass cutting table -Communicate with departments to complete recuts -Ensure others are wearing all required PPE -Wear proper safety equipment -Report problems, accidents, and activity to the Foreman

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) -Must have basic computer skills -2+ years Glass Cutting Experience (Required) -Be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day -Be able to carry and rotate up to 95 lbs for 10-30 feet occasionally -Ability to adapt to changing production priorities -2+ years Leadership Experience -Must work well on a team -Be able to carry and rotate up to 50 lbs for 10-30 feet frequently -Be able to team lift glass greater than 95lbs -Organized and have an eye for detail -Must wear all required PPE -Understand quality requirements for glass -Be able to properly utilize hand tools -Be able to walk, reach forward, and have bilateral hand coordination frequently -Ability to use specialized computer system -Be able to read a tape measure -Be able to read English and do basic math
