Tasks
Position Summary: The Field Operations Supervisor will oversee and support dispersed field crews responsible for critical loading and material movement activities. This role is primarily focused on people management, accountability, scheduling, and coordination across multiple local work sites. The supervisor ensures that crews work safely, efficiently, and to MIRATECH's quality standards while meeting daily and weekly operational targets. This leader will spend time both in the field-checking on crews, ensuring safety and performance, and addressing issues-and in the office-planning schedules, aligning resources, and coordinating with warehouse and operations teams. Success in this role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to holding teams accountable for results. -Monitor productivity and implement improvements to drive efficiency. -Regularly visit job sites to verify safe working conditions and proper PPE usage. -Serve as the primary link between field crews, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of work orders. -Provide daily supervision, coaching, and accountability for field crews. -Work with crews to ensure jobs are completed correctly the first time, minimizing rework and delays. -Communicate schedule changes promptly to crews and stakeholders. -Conduct performance feedback, coaching conversations, and corrective action when needed. -Inspect field work for adherence to quality standards and resolve non-conformance issues quickly. -Ensure incidents, near misses, and safety observations are reported, addressed, and escalated as required. -Enforce safety procedures and accountability in all field activities. -Lead and document toolbox talks, reinforcing safe practices and hazard awareness. -Foster a positive, safety-focused culture across all teams. -Adjust plans quickly based on weather, site readiness, or material availability. -Provide daily updates to the External Operations Manager on crew performance, progress, and site conditions. -Hold individuals accountable to attendance, performance, and adherence to company standards. -Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure materials, parts, and equipment are staged and ready ahead of schedule. -Maintain accurate records of attendance, safety talks, and performance issues. -Develop and manage daily/weekly schedules for crews across multiple job sites.

What You Bring
-Strong familiarity with material handling and field logistics practices (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, rigging), with the ability to perform spot checks, ensure safe and proper use, and maintain credibility with crews without daily operation. -3+ years of experience in field operations, logistics, or construction environments, with direct exposure to physically demanding work. -Demonstrated ability to develop schedules, allocate resources, and adjust plans quickly based on field conditions. -2+ years of proven experience supervising or managing dispersed crews, including accountability for safety, attendance, and performance. -Track record of holding individuals accountable while building a positive, safety-first team culture. -High school diploma or equivalent required; additional leadership, supervisory, or technical training strongly preferred. -Competence with basic scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., MS Teams, Excel, scheduling software, or ERP systems). -Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear direction, conduct safety talks, and report effectively to leadership.
