Field service engineer installing, commissioning and maintaining commercial gas heating systems.

Tasks
-Support the technical team by providing detailed internal reports on product failures and participating in on-site evaluations. -Identify opportunities for product, service, or operational improvements. -Engage in training opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and skills. -Proactively collaborate with team members and other departments to meet service standards and business objectives. -Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer requirements and providing proactive solutions during on-site visits. -Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements. -Foster a collaborative team environment by maintaining strong relationships across departments. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Relay logic and PLC based control systems within product range. -Complete accurate and timely reports on work performed, ensuring all associated paperwork is submitted promptly. -Adhere to safe working practices per Health and Safety regulations. -Stay updated on company products, promoting alternatives and additional services where applicable. -Install, commission, repair, overhaul, and service products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and established procedures.

What You Bring
Key skills: Experience of servicing, fault finding and repairing boilers. Understanding of electrical controls systems is desirable. A full driving license is required. Full product training will be provided to the successful candidate. The position includes a company Van to support the travel Location: Remote based with travel in around the Glasgow & North Yorkshire area (Possibly UK and Ireland) -Proficiency in completing accurate reports and paperwork. -Proactive and flexible approach with the ability to perform well under pressure. -Knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance standards -Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure. -Knowledge of HVAC products & Systems. -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in the field. -Valid clean driving license is essential. -Exceptional customer service and communication skills. -Strong understanding of engineering principles, particularly in manufacturing, construction, or mechanical services. -Substantial experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering. -18th Edition certification (advantageous). -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic PC applications. -Ability to manage relationships with customers and key stakeholders effectively. -GCSE qualifications (A-C), A Levels, or an Apprenticeship qualification/HNC. -Current and valid CSCS card or equivalent.
