What You Bring

-Must be willing to work "off hours" when needed and up to 60 hours per week as needed -Driving to and from job sites -Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred -ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I -Knowledge of TXDOT testing procedures relating to asphalt materials -Must have a valid Driver's License -Proficiency in preparing and documenting test result in accordance with TXDOT standards and project requirements -Experience reading and comprehending plans, specifications, and test procedures -Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets -Ability to travel, 20% of the time -Ability to use and navigate Site Manager and Metafield is a plus -Must be willing to transition from field testing and inspection duties to laboratory test responsibilities as needed -0-5 year's experience working in the construction industry -Working knowledge of asphalt pavements -1A and 1B certifications a must
