Assist on water infrastructure projects, performing admin, research, calculations.

Tasks

-Performing research and contacting vendors for information. -Assisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports. -Assisting technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling and evaluating project data, preparing reports and performing calculations for hydropower and dam projects and/or tunnel design projects. -Performing simple calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to design and crosstraining.

What You Bring

-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -In progress toward earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in structural engineering or related field -Ability to work 40 hours a week during summer break (flexible summer start and end dates). -Ability to multitask, prioritize, and take direction. -Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
