Tasks

-Participate in teaming and partnering meetings. -Manage design-build and design-assist trade partners. -Lead weekly pull plan updates. -Lead phase pull planning sessions. -Assist with project startup activities. -Assist in developing creative solutions for existing clients, as well as for new opportunities -Actively participate in pursuits including proposal development and interviews, as needed -Collaboratively develop integrated project schedules including activities for design, preconstruction, permitting, procurement, construction, activation, and closeout. -Lead design issue management. -Develop and maintain project organizational charts, roles & responsibilities matrixes, and decision-making workflows. -Assist with designer contracting process. -Lead design review process to ensure design in aligned with owner’s project requirements, design intent that is clear and coordinated, budget, and plan for construction (schedule, quality, safety, etc.). -Coordinate design scopes of service, including design-build, design-assist, and delegated design. -Lead kickoff meetings and weekly internal and external coordination meetings. -Lead project team alignment effort during transition from design phase to construction. -Establish collaboration procedures with the owner and design team. -Develop a strong understanding of the company's services, capabilities, business strategy, and knowledge of their local/national competition -Manage and develop other team members. -Collaboratively develop design deliverables plan with owner, designer, preconstruction and construction teams. -Actively participate in industry organizations, including the delivery of strategic presentations and board representation, as appropriate -Work with Business Development team to develop and maintain any potential and existing client-business relationships

Strong organizational skills. -Adaptable Leader: Knows when and how to take charge, facilitate, or influence effectively in grey/ambiguous situations, depending on the setting (contract type, relationships, meeting vs one-on-one, etc.). Flexible. Strong communicator. -Proficient in interpreting and understanding technical memoranda, specifications, drawings, process flow diagrams, and other project-related documentation. -This role involves travel up to 25% of the time. -8-10+ years of experience in design and/or construction. -Familiarity with collaborative delivery (design-build, CMAR, etc.).
