Field Operational Services Technician I

Overview

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and service of industrial electrical equipment.

Tasks

-Assist in the operational testing of PLC, HMI, VFD, actuators, solenoids, and other electrical instruments. -Safely drive to customer's sites and perform the required work with accuracy and timeliness. -Identify and adjust motors for correct rotation. -All employees who support partner companies must follow their safety and conduct policies, including on-call obligations. -Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements. -Must meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product. -Must examine flanged connections for correct torque. -Troubleshoot, identify and change out pumps, motors, and valves as needed.

What You Bring

-Must be able to perform preventative maintenance on air compressor stations which includes changing filters, changing oil, and replacing motors, bearings, belts, and fans. -Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment. -Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism. -A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required. -Experience with hand-held tools and assembling parts. -Service tickets must be reviewed for accuracy and submitted in a timely manner. -LACT Stations, Custody Transfer Metering -Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and 21 years of age to drive a Company Truck. -Custom Electrical and Motor Controls and Panels -Ability to learn to read mechanical and electrical drawings. -Must comply with Roeslein & Servtech’s core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and the commitment to maintain respectful relationships with all employees. -Experience with multimeters. -Under direct supervision, must have the ability to learn to tear down and repair failed electrical equipment including valve actuators, Variable Frequency Drives, circuit breaker replacement, MCC bucket replacement, PLC and HMI repair/replacement, and fuse replacement. -Mechanical experience is preferred but not required. -Capable of performing work with a truck-mounted crane. -Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities. -Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel. -Safety is essential at Servtech and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate. -1-2 years of electrical experience is preferred. -Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
