The Role
Overview
Support, diagnose, and improve electrical controls for equipment, including field service.

Tasks
-Ensure schematics are updated to accurately reflect machine design -Follow proper Engineering procedures for ECOs, ECRs, etc. -Assist in the management of all in house electronics/panel builds. -Diagnose electrical issues with crushing and screening equipment via technical helpdesk or field support -Assist in training of MP Personnel -Work with outside vendors to develop controls systems and component settings -Work with subcontractors and power companies during stationary and mobile systems installation -Provide manufacturing support -Assisting in research and development of new products -Provide aftermarket, customer, and dealer controls support, upgrades, etc. for all MP Products -Travel both domestic and abroad to perform on site diagnostics and service. -Ensures all personnel follow safety protocol, use of PPE, and reporting of unsafe conditions.

What You Bring
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software -Strong interpersonal and customer service skills -Ability to interact successfully in different cultures -Excellent written and spoken English -1 - 3 years’ experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred) -Ability to travel, both domestic and abroad and possess valid passport. -Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 79 and CE requirements -Must be willing and able to travel (approximately 40%) -Strong collaboration and decision-making skills -Knowledge of Auto Cad and Visio (Auto Cad Electrical preferred) -Experience with remote radio controls -Some knowledge of hydraulic systems -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Excellent written and spoken English, other languages are a plus -Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines -Knowledge of industrial controls systems -1 - 3 years of Electrical Design -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a licensed electrician -Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
