Overview

Deliver food and drinks promptly across a busy social food hall

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Engage with guests in a warm, professional manner when appropriate, while deferring more complex matters to senior members of staff. -Manage the kitchen pass and bar dispense area to ensure tickets are arranged in an orderly fashion -Manage any click and collect hand over from the kitchen to customer -Participate in briefings, tastings, and training sessions to maintain brand and product knowledge. -Work closely with chefs, bartenders and management to ensure coordinated and efficient service. -Adhere to food hygiene & safety regulations at all times, including allergy awareness and safe handling procedures. -Be a point of contact for any potential incident or emergency that may occur onsite. -Assist in maintaining clean dining and service areas in-line with premium brand facilities. -Maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities; communal areas must be cleaned and maintained to a high standard. -Support the team during peak times and events -Efficiently serve food and drinks from the kitchen or bar to guests with approachability and attention to detail. -Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed / cleaned / tidied / reorganised as required. -Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders. -Deliver food and drink with courtesy, confidence, and discretion.

What You Bring

-Resilience, with an ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations. -Strong organisational and leadership qualities with an ability to remain calm under pressure. -Experience in food & beverage, preferably in a high volume setting -Excellent communication skills. English will be the primary spoken language; however multi-lingual skills would be warmly welcomed. -Adaptability, creativity & positivity. -Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements, with reasonable adjustments considered where required. -Event management experience would be a significant advantage, however full training is provided. -House of Social operate a multi-cultural environment, welcoming colleagues and residents from all over the world with a variety of cultural backgrounds and religious beliefs.
