QC Chemist performs analytical testing and method development in GMP lab.

Tasks

-Apply knowledge and experience of USP, ICH, and CFR regulatory requirements. -Perform various analytical tests such as Assay, dissolution, degradants, moisture, hardness, viscosity, and pH. -Execute work against monographs, protocols, and SOPs in a cGMP laboratory environment. -Prevent deviations and conduct investigations as needed. -Operate electronic systems including LIMS, electronic laboratory notebooks, TrackWise, OpenLAB, Excel, and Word. -Utilize expertise with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, UHPLC, Dissolution, Spectrophotometer, GC, KF, ICP-MS, etc. -Conduct stability scheduling and studies. -Develop and validate analytical methods using techniques like chromatography, pipetting, and solution preparation.

What You Bring

-Previous related laboratory experience. -Pharmaceutical and quality control expertise. -Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from an accredited US college or university. -Knowledge in method development and improvement. -Understanding of GMP regulations. -Experience with wet chemistry techniques. -Experience with Dissolution and FTIR/IR. -At least 1 year of hands-on QC Chemistry experience within a small molecule GMP lab. -Familiarity with LIMS. -Experience with HPLC (Agilent 1100 or 1290).
