Tasks
-Safeguards all relationships with President and BGL’s, as well as Sr Business Group Leader if present. Integrates HSE programs and processes to ensure synergy with operations. -Deploys HSE processes that demonstrate continuous improvement in HSE stewardship. -Ensures staffing and training within the division meets all corporate requirements. -Identifies and establishes HSE programs, guidelines and standards that support the company’s business plans and are compliant with all regulations. -Establishes key metrics that drive the effectiveness of the HSE program across the division. -Contributes to annual operating planning and corporate governance processes, including audits, compliance initiatives, government reporting, and identification of best practice initiatives.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent -CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification -Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Safety Management Supervisor (SMS) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) -Creative and innovative problem-solving environment -Excellent leadership and communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time. -Minimum 12 - 15 years of experience, with most of the experience on major construction projects -Knowledge of regulations and standards as well as hazard recognition and injury management skills.
