The Role

Overview

Oversee site management, safety, QA and reporting for a major water pipeline project.

Tasks

-General Site Management including producing and managing the programme and supervising the successful deliver of it. -Ensure that the QA and ITPs is produced updated and followed. -Ensure that site diaries and all other records are kept up to date. -Day to day management of section of works including the supervision and monitoring of the site team and supply chain. -Weekly and monthly reporting -Ensure that daily and weekly and monthly inspections are carried out as per the BMS requirements. -Ensuring day to day compliance of HS&E and quality, in line with company procedures. -Maintaining key relationships with stakeholders and sub-contractors. -Ensure risk assessment and method statements, permit to work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are carried out. -Application of CDM Health and Safety duties including understanding and managing design and technical risk -Progress and performance reporting to the Senior Agent.

What You Bring

-EUSR 1 & 2 USC -Good general IT skills including software using MS Excel and document management systems -Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to concisely present information -Industry qualifications, HNC/D or higher -Understanding of legislation and standards -Demonstrable experience and understanding of managing and working at Sub Agent level (minimum 5 years) -Good understanding of engineering / construction principles and practices -CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, IOSH in Environmental or equivalent -Problem-solving and analytical abilities -Demonstrable ability to manage people -Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes (or similar engineering industry) -Water Hygiene trained.
