Tasks

-Monitor progress against procurement schedules and resolve issues proactively. -Develop and implement the project's Procurement Plan and Execution Strategy for critical, long-lead, and civil works packages. -Forecast procurement needs with the Delivery Team across materials, equipment, services, and civil works. -Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure value for money and support sustainability targets. -Maintain transparent, compliant tender governance across all stages. -Update and maintain accurate asset tracking with the Cost Control Manager. -Manage the full tender process: documentation, evaluation, pricing analysis, and award recommendations. -Contribute to monthly procurement reporting with accurate data and insights. -Ensure supplier and subcontractor compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements. -Conduct post-award meetings, clarifications, and onboarding for suppliers and subcontractors. -Perform buy/lease/purchase evaluations, self-perform vs subcontract comparisons, and normalisation analysis to support informed decisions. -Apply structured negotiation tactics to secure favourable commercial outcomes. -Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.

What You Bring

-Tier 1 construction experience (preferred) -Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (preferred) -Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines -Extensive procurement experience within Electrical Infrastructure, Construction, or Civil Works -Ability to influence stakeholders and challenge traditional approaches to deliver better value -High commercial acumen and excellent communication and negotiation skills
