Tasks

-Provides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project integration and interface management requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution. -Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals . -Lead the review of design deliverables, including constructability, value engineering and safety in design considerations . -Ensure engineering coordination efforts with Project Manager, Procurement/Contracts, Construction, Commissioning & Startup, Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H) and Project Controls. -Provide input to and own the engineering elements of a project capital estimate (proposals and execution) quantities and budgets . -Coordinate with Project Stakeholders and undertake presentations as required, including Stage Gate Reviews. -Management and accountability for the timely coordination for all design submissions . -Possesses full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating the delivery of different work packages. -Review major changes or deviations in project scope, project material quantities, budget or schedule, and assists particularly with defining the change, obtaining accurate estimates of the hours involved, and notifying trends in accordance with Project Change Control procedures. -Establish and maintain an accurate Progress Reports.

What You Bring

-Possesses working knowledge and production ability with computer-aided drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Revit. -Demonstrated ability to effectively influence outcomes and escalate issues appropriately. -Essential: prior experience in managing multiple packages of work. -Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience. -At least 10 years of broad progressive work experience in design engineering, or other relevant types of engineering associated with major building and infrastructure design and construction projects. -Desirable: understanding of current innovations, including applications of AI. -Desirable: understanding of airline industry and international regulatory codes, standards and design criteria relating to airport design. -Possesses a working knowledge of BIM processes, including experience designing projects in BIM platforms, particularly Revit and Navisworks. -Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems -Role model the Bechtel Visions, Values, & Commitments (VV&C) and must be a strong advocate of our Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DE&I) efforts and initiatives. -Experience of working within a multicultural, highly diverse team environment is essential. -Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines
