The Role

Overview

Provide personal care and support to senior residents in an assisted living community.

Tasks

-Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming. -Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents. -Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed. -Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities. -Answers call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s and / or family needs. -Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.

What You Bring

-Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus -Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers. -CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required. -High school diploma or GED required -Ability to read and interpret work instructions
