Warranty Service Manager

Overview

Oversee warranty repairs for new homes, manage subcontractors, and handle warranty order processing.

Tasks

-Ensures the protection of area of the home being worked on as well as surrounding areas. -Evaluates project costs and maintains budgets. -Closes out orders in the computer to maintain accurate records. -Maintain clean, well-organized work area. -Reviews warranty reports and follows up on repairs to insure timely completion. Works with sub-contractors when necessary. -Works with Production Management and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities. -Meets with homeowners to determine needed repairs and verify warranty claim. -Makes sure work areas are cleaned prior to leaving home. -Participates in Customer Service follow-up with homeowners. -Conforms with all safety rules and uses all appropriate safety equipment. -Supervises subcontractors on scheduled appointments. -Completes all inspections required paperwork, including scheduling and payment approvals.
