Expert in architecture and technology planning methodology pertinent to the Enterprise. Maintains relationships with key technology vendors and stays abreast of latest industry best practices, trends and market offerings.
Knowledge of Software Architecture principles

Experience in strategic planning and execution of technology architecture roadmaps
Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering and 10 years of experience in systems development and systems architecture inclusive of 2 years of experience defining and implementing strategies under a CTO or CIO (or equivalent)
Experience with cloud transformation initiatives, including hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering and 8 years of experience in systems development and systems architecture inclusive of 2 years of experience defining and implementing strategies under a CTO or CIO (or equivalent)
Proficiency in understanding, modeling and representation business and technical requirements in a high-quality manner as it relates to strategy
Experience leading the strategic use of emerging technologies
Possesses expertise in at least two of the following architecture domains: Cloud architecture, application architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure architecture, network architecture, business architecture and data architecture
Industry standard architecture certification such as TOGAF, Zachman, FEA, CISSP, AWS or Azure
This position may require gas FERC training.
High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in systems development and systems architecture inclusive of 2 years of experience defining and implementing strategies under a CTO or CIO (or equivalent)
Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a services (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Certified Information Systems Architect (CISA) or a strong understanding of TOGAF, Zachman, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with senior-level Corporate management
Practical knowledge of cloud technologies
Understanding of and experience with enterprise level vendor systems such as SAP and IBM Maximo, familiarity with large scale databases
Experience using a business capability reference model for business and systems architecture alignment
