Tasks

The Project Manager (MRP) ensures the effective deployment, integration, and optimization of the Group’s production management system (CAPM) across sites in the USA and Canada. It involves frequent travel, high autonomy, and collaboration with IT, R&D, and Controlling to standardize processes in line with Group policies. Key responsibilities include system implementation, user training, technical support, problem resolution, process audits, and integration with related systems (e.g., scheduling, MRP, WMS). The position also drives continuous improvement and ensures compliance with production management standards. -Conduct internal audits of system processes and ensure follow-up on actions. -Become an expert in the current production management system (CAPM): Cost calculation, Production order management, Plant performance analysis, CO2 impact calculation. -Provide technical and methodological support to teams at different sites to ensure the proper functioning of the information system. -May be required to work extra hours and weekends during implementations. -Ensure deployment of the system in the new factories within its scope and participate in its evolution/adaptation according to the types of activities. -Support problem-solving with a hands-on, collaborative, and methodical approach. -They will be in charge of the integration of new management systems in communication with the Group's CAPM system: -Train and support CAPM users and keep training documents up-to-date. -Be the guarantor of the proper transmission of the values and production management methods of the Soprema group and their evolution. -Manufacturing Line Supervision Systems -They will ensure the resolution of problems encountered by CAPM users, associated systems and will be a source of proposals for new functions to be integrated into our tools.

-Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization -Expertise with RPG/ILE, service programs, commitment control, journaling, interactive & batch debugging -A superior work ethic -Time management and prioritization skills -Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Self-starter that will take ownership of assignments and drive to completion with minimal supervision -Familiarity with ticketing systems such as JIRA -Travel is required. -Minimum 5+ years AS400 programming/support experience on enterprise level applications -Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. -Java experience would be a plus -Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel -Ability to relate well with business users
