Overview
Design and oversee structural bridge projects, ensuring compliance and safety.

Tasks
-Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients. -Review and check design calculations and drawings prepared by junior engineers. -Coordinate with architects, geotechnical engineers, and construction teams. -Conduct load rating and stress analysis for new and existing structures. -Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. -Perform structural analysis and design of bridge components using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, STAAD, Midas). -Ensure compliance with AASHTO, DOT, and other relevant codes and standards. -Participate in field inspections and condition assessments of bridges.

What You Bring
-Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program -Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position. -Professional Engineer (PE) eligibility -Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. -Ability to maintain required certifications -Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. -Strong Proficiency in required design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. -Good communication and technical writing skills.
