Tasks

-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with business objectives. -Identify and maintain critical relationships -Register new suppliers in the SAP Ariba system, ensuring accurate and complete data entry. -Monitor and confirm that all supplier payments are processed accurately and on time. -Maintain the Ariba Contract Repository, ensuring all contracts are current and properly archived. -Consistently exceed customer expectations by dealing with internal complexities across multiple business units in a manner invisible to customers -Create and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with suppliers. -Gather requirements from suppliers as needed to support contract and sourcing activities. -Create contract orders in Ariba and manage the Adobe Sign process for approvals. -Validate and follow up on cost allocations to ensure accuracy and proper budget alignment. -Articulate departmental vision and goals, creating atmosphere of open communication -Create purchase requisitions and ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers. -Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and facilitate smooth operations. -Solicit quotes from vendors

-Comfortable and effective working through ambiguity -Strong presentation and effective communication skills -Able to manage priorities with limited oversight, and drive progress with due urgency where appropriate -Strong ability to influence relationships -Understanding of business and legal interpretations of contract T&Cs -Proficient in working with Domestic & International Law -Comfortable with prioritizing multiple demands (with the help of stakeholders and based upon understanding of business impacts), and executing tasks with due urgency to ensue business risks are mitigated -Able to operate in a self-directed manner -Ability to simplify complex activities when communicating with leaders and peers -Proven ability to manage complex / sophisticated commercial agreements -Understanding potential differing needs between Internal & External customers. -Comfortable operating with a high degree of independence on contract negotiations
