This role involves performance modeling, component evaluation, preparing engineering documentation, and collaborating with teams and regulatory bodies. By staying updated on industry trends and offering technical support, the Design Engineer contributes to innovative and efficient solar project solutions. -Technical Support and Problem Solving: Offer technical support, address challenges, and contribute to a positive work environment. -Site and Feasibility Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to support project development and progress. -Software and Performance Modelling: Utilize design software to model system performance and adapt designs based on project needs and technological advancements. -Component Selection and System Evaluation: Evaluate and select solar components, analysing performance data to recommend improvements. -Design and Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to design and optimize solar energy systems while participating in design reviews and cross-functional meetings. -Regulatory Compliance and Permits: Collaborate with regulatory bodies to secure permits and ensure projects meet safety and environmental regulations. -Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards.

What You Bring

Psychosocial Skills /Human Skills/Behavioural Skills 4+ years of experience in Design/ Electrical engineering, with a focus on solar energy projects. -Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders. -Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion. -Bachelor's/master's in electrical engineering -Ability to coordinate with other engineers and stakeholders -Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. -Experience in managing design projects from conception to implementation -Management experience a plus. -Technical understanding of clean energy business processes -Understanding of solar energy systems and their integration into existing infrastructure -Aurora Solar or other solar-specific design tools -Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
