The Role
Overview
Maintain and repair diesel vehicles and equipment for a concrete construction fleet.

Tasks
-Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques. -Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements. -Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and determine the necessary repairs. -Rebuild, replace, or repair major components of diesel engines, such as heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions. -Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, electrical systems, and hydraulic problems in diesel engines and equipment. -Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. -Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on the job site. - Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

What You Bring
-Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. -Valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred. -Ability to work independently and in a team environment. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment. -Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the concrete industry or related fields. -High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus. -Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
