Tasks
-Financial Statement Prep: Help compile and review financial information to prepare quarterly and annual financial statements. -Regulatory Expertise: Utilize U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations to implement accurate and effective disclosures. -Problem Solver: Bring your problem-solving skills to the table to identify inefficiencies and think outside of the box, helping to create impactful solutions that drive efficiency and improvement. -Collaborative Analysis: Partner closely with Regulation and Pricing to analyze the impact of rate plans on financial performance, explaining income statement and balance sheet variances against expected and historical data. -Data Accuracy: Assist in verifying, reconciling, and updating accounts by reviewing discrepancies to produce credible data. Work with business partners to understand financial performance and explain variance drivers. -Monitoring Performance: Support the monitoring and reporting of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow variances against budget and historical data to identify anomalies and ensure accuracy.

What You Bring
-Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (such as sponsorship for an H-1B, TN, O, L, STEM OPT, or other employment-based work authorization) -Ability to begin the National Grid Graduate Program on June 8, 2026, or July 13, 2026 -Experience with SAP to enhance your contributions. -Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited institution preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field. -Graduated between May 2025 and June 2026 -Valid driver’s license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy -A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
