Community Emergencies - Porters are responsible for emergencies that may arise outside of normal business hours. I.e. flood, fire, power loss, etc.
Troubleshoot/repair resident service requests. This includes but is not limited to appliance repair, HVAC repair, plumbing and electrical.
Maintenance Coverage after hours (as needed) - Porters execute on call rotation schedule to handle service requests outside of normal business hours.
Maintain community exterior maintenance and presentation. This includes but is not limited to watering flowers, leaf clean up, cleanliness of breezeways, trash pick-up, etc.
Assist maintenance with suite turn over and work requests. This includes but not limited to changing light bulbs, painting, caulking, shampooing carpet, furniture placement, replacing HVAC filters, etc.
Snow Removal - responsible for ensuring community is always clear and accessible during snow falls.
Clean designated assigned amenity spaces and indoor/outdoor areas. This includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting, polishing furniture, cleaning glass, etc.

Minimum of one to two years of janitorial and/or maintenance experience, i.e. plumbing, electric, carpentry, appliance repairs, etc.
Demonstrated strong guest service skills
Must have reliable source of transportation for required on-call rotation and community emergencies that may occur outside of normal business hours
High-level cleanliness and presentation standards
Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and "can do" positive attitude
