Tasks
Optimisation of maintenance activities Promote the culture of Accountability, Change Championship, Team Work and Customer Focus Reporting of various findings and recommendations Construct new methods and procedures for overhaul of aero engines. Working of various engine systems e.g. oil, fuel, air, bleed etc. Identification of potential repair procedures Troubleshooting of failures Define Best Practices to prevent material handling damage In-Service Issue Analysis (Operational/ Maintenance) Validating the procedural steps in the engine manual by observing the shop implementation of the procedures

Understanding of various delivery excellence and quality control systems Global Mindset · Strong time management skills At Quest Global, we are hiring Repair Engineer with Aero engine experience for our Aerospace customer at Derby which is a 12 months contract, Outside IR35 and Hybrid (3 days office per week), Permanent can also possible. Qualification: · B.E. (Mech/ Aero)/ AME (Mech) Proactive and able to work in a fast paced environment Good understanding of engine manuals and their layout, etc. Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair/service of aeroengines Good hands on experience in using MS Office ( Word, Excel, Power Point and similar tools) Various manufacturing techniques and their application during component repair. Minimum 5 Years, post qualification, hands on experience on aeroengines in an MRO, Airlines/ Aerospace & Defence and related service organisation Part drawing reading and GD&T concepts Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Years of experience: 5 to 12 years Knowledge of key Aircraft Systems Work Experience Knowledge of AS9100/ ISO9001 and Six Sigma Tools will be an added advantage Able to make quick decisions · Proven ability to take calculated risks Various inspection methods including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques
