The Role

Overview

Execute EMC test plans, operate equipment, and document results for CSA Group labs.

Tasks

-Operates and maintains basic test equipment, performs minor maintenance, and may handle calibration tasks. -Incorporates continuous improvement techniques, offering suggestions to enhance accuracy and efficiency in equipment, processes, and forms. -Inspects simpler customer samples, operates relevant tests, and ensures proper evaluation by communicating with customers during setup and testing. -Executes complex EMC test plans for a single technology, evaluates performance, and documents test results in reports.

What You Bring

-ITE or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education. -Candidates with relevant EMC and/or RF experience may be considered for the Senior Laboratory Technician role. -Experience in EMC, RF, or Electrical/Electronic technology is preferred. -Open to working 2nd or 3rd shifts and overtime. -Strong team player with drive and initiative to deliver results in a challenging environment. -Understands and applies product/test standards and technology relevant to responsibilities. -Demonstrates initiative and a drive to improve technical skills. -Must be willing to work night shifts (6pm to 7am, including overtime). -Open to candidates with no prior experience.
