The Role

Overview

Write, edit, and manage tender submissions for civil engineering projects.

Tasks

You will play a central role in producing clear, compelling, and compliant tender submissions. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help shape our win themes, value propositions, and solution narratives. -Working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop win strategies and ensure consistency in value propositions. -Analysing client requirements and producing answer plans to maximise scoring. -Producing high-quality written content, graphics, and supporting materials. -Managing deadlines, leading coordination meetings, and keeping stakeholders updated. -Researching and gathering supporting information to strengthen submissions. -Leading the development, editing, and proofing of tender responses. -Maintaining libraries of case studies, project summaries, and supporting data. -Applying quality assurance processes and incorporating feedback throughout the bid process.

Collaborative by nature, you thrive when working with multi-disciplinary teams and take pride in delivering high-quality outputs that help secure new work. -Confidence in leading meetings and collaborating with senior stakeholders. -Strong organisational and time management skills. -Proven bid writing experience (construction or technical environment desirable). -Experience with Adobe products, Publisher, or Visio (advantage). -Ability to research, analyse, and present information clearly and concisely. -Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills. -Familiarity with APMP, Shipley, or other bid-writing frameworks (desirable). -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
