Tasks

-Support onboarding of new staff where required -Work with SPEN Category managers on their reporting needs and frequency and embed a process to support, including ESG improvement plans and their progress. -Provide support where needed to engage with Suppliers to update their GOSupply/Achilles data. -Support the SPEN Head of Procurement in preparation of reporting packs for management meetings -Preparation of supplier insight and analysis -Own the embedding of Procurement process team updates within the SPEN Category teams via reviewing the updates, understanding their implication and application and engaging with the categories through local meetings and walking through the updates. -Develop Credit risk reporting at the supplier level, the contract level and the license level, and reporting on changes to the risk picture. -Support the roll out of risk management reporting within the SPEN Procurement team, linked to the wider SP Procurement area and directly into the SPEN business. -Embed a reporting (data/slides etc) regime to support regular meetings including internal SPEN Procurement monthly overview, monthly SPEN Executive meeting and SP Procurement Department quarterly meetings. -Work in collaboration with all the SPEN Category Managers and the SP Procurement process team. -Support adhoc reporting requirements for areas such as Iberdrola Networks Procurement meetings /visits, Supplier meetings and other emergent requirements. -Collaborate for supporting strategic supplier engagement includingPreparation of supplier insight and analysisMarket segment insight and analysis

-Ability to operate confidently -Excellent written and oral communication skills. -Effective computer system skills, with well-developed skills in the use of data gathering, manipulation and presentation within MS Excel and PowerPoint -Effective computer system skills, with well-developed skills in the use of data gathering, manipulation and presentation within MS Excel and Powerpoint -Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with stakeholders, presenting findings, and documenting requirements -Ability to communicate effectively. -Possesses a working understanding of Procurement -Business Degree or equivalent demonstrable experience -Highly numerate and strong problem solver. -An understanding of best practice procurement principles, practices and processes -Highly numerate and strong problem solver -Self-performance management and delivery focus with the ability to balance conflicting requirements of quality cost and time, make decisions in tight timescales, flexibility to react to changing needs, track record of delivery within agreed timescales. -Market segment insight and analysis -Capability of working under pressure of complying with Group Purchasing objectives whilst not delaying or failing to match the Business requirements.
