The Role

Overview

Design and draft protection & control electrical drawings and documentation.

Tasks

-Liaise with engineering, document control and ISO quality control standards for compliance. -Coordinate project work with the team lead, other engineering disciplines and project manager; -Complete engineering designs and drawings packages by using AutoCAD; -Perform other administrative and technical functions in support of engineering activities; -Complete document control, submissions and management;

What You Bring

-Experience in verifying drawings prepared by others to ensure correct symbols, standards and techniques are followed in the preparation of production drawings; -College degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent (asset); -Familiar with engineering standards, manufacture’s drawings and meridian document management system; -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Word. -Ability to understand and prepare electrical single line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, connection wiring diagrams, elementary wiring diagrams, bills of materials and cable lists; -3 - 5 years or more protection and control drafting experience; -Experience performing electrical and telecom drafting and application of the fundamental skills and use of drafting equipment;
