Tasks

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer Manager to oversee the operations of our commercial manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient performance of the building’s infrastructure, including utilities, equipment, and systems, while maintaining a safe, reliable, and compliant environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact. You will lead facility expansions and layout improvements, bring innovation through building automation and smart systems, and continuously seek ways to optimize how our facility operates. You will also be responsible for facility reports and compliance records, as well as overseeing maintenance programs that keep equipment and infrastructure reliable and efficient. -Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards. -Manage facility projects, including renovations, expansions, and new installations. -Oversee and maintain the facility's infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. -Advocate for sustainable practices within the facility. -Manage facility budgets and expenses. -Manage and supervise facility maintenance staff. -Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. -Oversee contractors and vendors performing work on the facility. -Foster a fearless and trusting culture. -Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, employees, and contractors. -Offer the best value: Provide products and services which best meet each customer's needs. -Monitor and analyze energy consumption to identify areas for improvement. -Develop and implement safety procedures and training programs. -Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes. -Work closely with other departments, including manufacturing, maintenance, and operations. -Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. -Promote a safe working environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards. -Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility systems and equipment. -Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules. -Document and report on facility performance and issues. -Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. -Plan and coordinate repairs and upgrades to facility infrastructure. -Treat everyone with dignity and respect. What You Bring

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -PE license, CFM, CPE, CPM, or CPMM Certification preferred. -Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. -4+ years of experience in facility management or engineering. -Ability to prepare comprehensive written reports and correspondence, represent ideas clearly and concisely, and make professional presentations to senior management. -Experience analyzing company needs, lesson planning, development, and implementation. -Excellent leadership skills: Communicate clear objectives, provide feedback, and suggest improvement for individual performance, coaches. -Experience managing building systems and staff. -Attention to detail with the ability to document and manage compliance data -Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail -Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. -Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
