Tasks
-Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals. -Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. -Knowledge Management System: Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. -Engineering Inspections: Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements. -Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan. -Product and Solution Development: Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products. -Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions. -Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems. -Process Design Engineering: Contribute to the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters. -Engineering Standards Specification: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.

What You Bring
-Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certificate desired but not required. -Registered Professional Engineer in Hawaii or ability to obtain Hawaii electrical license within 6 months. Other state engineering registrations such as California, Hawai’i and CNMI will be considered. -Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree from an ABET accredited school in Electrical Engineering or similar degree. -Minimum of 6 years of professional consulting engineering experience with exposure to defense, water/wastewater, waterfront, architectural, industrial, or related projects.
